This was one of the most enjoyable Babyshambles gigs I have seen - a small intimate venue with a crowd that was there to hear the music not tabloid ambulance chaser audiences that I have seen at later gigs.

They played a 90 minute set in sweaty rock n roll enviroment.

Peter arrived by a side door wearing a coat and was mobbed as he made his way to the stage. After the band finished their set I remember seeing Patrick Walden having a fist fight with Alan Wass who spent most of the set asleep at the side of the stage.

This is one of my favourite venues
